75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 27, 1937

75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 27, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Tuesday, July 27:

Making bills. To Bk Nite with folks. "Can This Be Dixie?" Good Show.

Here is the long entry for Tuesday, July 27:

Usual work. Still making out bills & checking rate sheets. Found a mistake on one of them. Had Mary register for me & then went in with the folks at nite. Jane Withers in "Can This Be Dixie?" Good show with Slim Slimmerville.

My comments:  Well, well… checking rate sheets! Good for her.

"Can This Be Dixie?" was a 1936 movie with Jane Withers and Slim Summerville…
