75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 12, 1937

75 Years Ago - Eileen's Diary - July 12, 1937

This entry is the daily post on this blog from the diary of eighteen year old Eileen KINNICK, 75 Years Ago this date.

Since midway through 2010, a weekly update/comments blog entry began to appear on the Dr. Bill Tells Ancestor Stories blog. Those weekly entries, on that blog, on each Tuesday of the week, will continue, with links to these daily entries.

Here is the short entry for Monday, July 12:

Cloudy, but we washed. Embroidered awhile & then went to potato patch. Weeded 5 rows. Ida came & we 4 kids went swimming.

Here is the long entry for Monday, July 12:

A little cloudy but we washed anyway. Slept awhile in pm. Embroidered till 8:00 & then we went to potato patch. Weeded all 5 rows. Ida Marie came & we 4 kids went swimming 'till 10:00.

My comments: Did she do counted cross stitch embroidery?
